Your Visits:

First-time visits include an extensive intake of your health history and review of your current condition, physical exam, and acupuncture treatment.

Initial visits take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow-up visits are about an hour long.

In addition to acupuncture, techniques such as Cupping, Tui Na (Chinese massage utilizing meridians), Moxabustion, Electric-stimulation, Nutritional Counseling, and Therapeutic Exercises may be incorporated.

Herbal Medicines and Nutritional Supplements are an integral part of the healing process. They are prescribed as needed and are purchased separately.  Herbal and nutritional consultations without acupuncture treatment are also available.

New Patients:

Please print out and complete your new patient forms prior to your appointment and bring them in for your first visit.
  • Please bring any medical records or bloodwork to your appointment.
  • You may also bring in your supplements and medications for review.
  • Have a small meal or healthy snack at least 30 mins before your appointment to avoid feeling faint or dizzy from the treatment.
  • Kindly wear comfortable clothing and refrain from using perfume or cologne.
  • Ideally, do not drink caffeinated beverage before your visit in order for the treatment to have a full effect.

Insurance:

Natalie is an “out of network” acupuncture provider for PPO-type insurance plans.
This means patients pay the full rate upfront and insurance company may reimburse you a portion of the rate depending on your coverage.

After one or several appointments, we can provide you with a superbill to submit directly to your insurance company for reimbursement. A superbill is a medical invoice using standardized codes for treatments received. If you have questions on coverage and reimbursement, please contact your insurance provider and ask them about your benefits.

Contact information for your insurance company can be found on your insurance card.
